Activities

Design and implement a comprehensive program of student assessment related to government-established parameters.

Advise the Minister of Education and Training on assessment policy for non-government schools and learning centres.

Develop and implement a provincial performance indicators system for independent schools.

Promote research in best practices in assessment and accountability.

Conduct quality reviews (accreditation) in cooperation with school boards.

Conduct annual conferences in order to debate assessment-related issues.
-
Publish information on educational alternatives in order to promote informed parental choice and schooling options. |
