Mission
CHI is a research organization designed to promote excellence through accountability and transparency. This focus will help independent schools monitor and improve academic and organizational performance. It will do so by researching and publishing accepted professional standards for assessing school performance and providing an accreditation service using that knowledge as part of an ongoing support program.

Services
An Accreditation Service - This professional service evaluates the school and provides a public report giving a ranking of the educational quality of the school. This certificate will be based on the best available objective indicators of effective schooling practise.

A Student Achievement Information Service - Parents will find information about the kinds of instruments available to them for assessing the quality of the school.

Independent Schools Canada - A national information service about independent schools, organizations, and relevant government information for all types of schooling. Go to www.independentschools.ca.

Awards of Distinction - A service that rewards and encourages exemplary programs in eight (8) categories, at both elementary and secondary levels.

For each of these services follow the menu on your left.
